I will say Vampire handled it a bit better though, as they realized they had a problem, and created a small set of cards, nothing amazing, but something unique to add that wouldn't cost them much for people to add to their pledge to cover the new cost, and they are at least giving the local pick up option.
While it sucks that their options are basically pay more for something you already paid for or not get what you bought the other choice is ruining their company outright. The situation sucks, but when they projected things they couldn't have expected the costs to go up as much as they did and in general the companies can't just eat the extra costs and it's quite a lot of extra costs.
